Mobile Consulate Serves Moroccan Community in Ibiza

In a significant move to enhance consular services for its citizens abroad, the Moroccan Consulate General in Palma de Mallorca has successfully organized a mobile consulate in Ibiza. This initiative, held over the weekend, provided essential services to the Moroccan community residing in the Balearic Islands, demonstrating a commitment to the policy of proximity championed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The choice of Ibiza was strategic, recognizing the substantial and dynamic Moroccan population there, whose contributions enrich the social, economic, and cultural fabric of the region while maintaining a strong connection to their heritage. Services included the issuance of biometric passports and national electronic identity cards, as well as legal certifications and personal assistance with administrative, social, and documentary matters. This proactive approach not only facilitates access to vital services but also strengthens the bond between the Moroccan diaspora and their homeland, reflecting a deep understanding of their needs and a dedication to their well-being.
