Molotov's Miky Huidobro to play free concert for Kings of Groove anniversary

Miky Huidobro, the bassist for the renowned Mexican rock band Molotov, is set to perform a free concert on August 19. The event celebrates the 10th anniversary of Kings of Groove, a store specializing in accessories and apparel for bass and guitar players.

In collaboration with Reactor 105.7 FM and the Mexican brand Kings of Groove, the celebration marks a decade since the store's inauguration in 2016. The concert will be held at Heredia Clothing, located at Av. Miguel Ángel de Quevedo 566 in Santa Catarina, Coyoacán.

Huidobro will showcase his solo project, "El Gentleman del Rock." This project is named after his 2025 album, which includes tracks like "Changa su madre" and "Misa Negra." While his solo performances primarily feature material from this album, he also incorporates popular Molotov songs, such as "Hasta la basura se separa."

The event is scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM. Attendees are advised to arrive early, as the venue has a limited capacity. Huidobro's solo work, "El Gentleman del Rock," was notably recorded with only bass and drums, featuring Spanish drummer David Serrano (Deivhook). For live performances, Huidobro is accompanied by Mexican musician Silvana Vega.
