MOP coordinates progress on Centenario–Nuevo Emperador road project

Panama's Ministry of Public Works (MOP) is actively coordinating efforts to advance the Centenario–Nuevo Emperador road project, engaging with various authorities, institutions, and community representatives from Panama Oeste.

Working sessions have taken place in Nuevo Emperador and at the MOP's main office. These meetings focus on reviewing key aspects related to the project's execution. Participants include the governor of Panama Oeste, Marilyn Vallarino, representatives from the Secretariat of Goals of the Presidency, the Ministry of Environment (MiAmbiente), district authorities from Arraiján, representatives from Nuevo Emperador, and members of the Nuevo Emperador–Centenario Forest Road Committee.

During these discussions, concerns raised by residents are being addressed, alongside technical, environmental, and administrative considerations pertinent to the project. The MOP emphasized that these coordination efforts are designed to foster inter-institutional work.

This collaborative approach aims to ensure the project progresses in an orderly manner, adhering to established norms while also incorporating feedback from the involved communities. The MOP is committed to maintaining transparency and dialogue throughout the development process.
