More than 400 beer cans destroyed by capital authorities; checks continue in Zócalo and Reforma

As a result of these efforts, over 400 cans of beer and five bottles of alcoholic drinks have been confiscated and destroyed. Fans heading towards the Ángel de la Independencia are being advised by officials from the Secretariat of Citizen Security and other capital agencies that alcohol and any objects that could be used for aggression are prohibited. A large screen has been set up in this area for fans to watch the match, which is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 PM.
