The transfer sees Rogers arrive at Stamford Bridge after establishing himself as a promising attacking talent in the Premier League. During his time at Aston Villa, he played a crucial role, contributing to 40 league goals across 85 appearances. His performances were instrumental in helping Villa secure a top-four finish and ultimately win the UEFA Europa League last season.

Internationally, Rogers has become a consistent figure for England, earning 22 caps since his senior debut in November 2024 and representing his country at the recent FIFA World Cup.
