Moroccan Coach El Mbaraki Strengthens Benhaima's Staff at Egypt's Modern Sport FC

Moroccan football coach Bouchaib El Mbaraki has reached a final agreement to join the technical staff of Egyptian club Modern Sport FC. El Mbaraki will serve as the first assistant coach to the team's manager, fellow Moroccan Amine Benhaima, who has been leading the club for several weeks.

The decision for Benhaima to bring El Mbaraki onto his staff stems from their strong mutual understanding and trust, built over years of association in Moroccan football. El Mbaraki's expertise is highly valued by Benhaima, who also plans to include an Egyptian assistant coach alongside the existing Moroccan contingent.

This move represents a significant new chapter for El Mbaraki, as it will be his first coaching role outside of Morocco. He brings with him extensive experience from managing various clubs in the Moroccan professional league, with his most recent position being with Olympique Dcheira. His tenure there ended after failing to secure promotion back to the top division in a playoff match.

Benhaima has already finalized other key appointments for his technical team, including Zouhair Laaroubi as goalkeeper coach and Tayeb Lakrouni for physical preparation. These appointments complete the coaching staff that will guide Modern Sport FC through the upcoming season. El Mbaraki's playing career was also notable, having represented several prominent clubs, including Raja Casablanca and Al-Ahli Saudi.
