Moroccan Researcher Earns Top Honors for Thesis on Administrative Justice Effectiveness

Mohammedia, Morocco – Researcher Nadia El Oussi has been awarded a doctorate in Public Law and Political Science with the distinction of "very excellent" and a recommendation for publication. Her thesis, titled "The Effectiveness of Law and the Rule of Administrative Justice in Morocco," was defended at the Faculty of Legal, Economic, and Social Sciences at Hassan II University in Casablanca.

The dissertation delves into the position of legal norms within the administrative justice system. It assesses the system's capacity to achieve legitimacy, safeguard rights and freedoms, and adapt to Morocco's ongoing constitutional and institutional transformations. El Oussi's research specifically addresses theoretical and practical issues related to the enforcement of administrative court rulings.

El Oussi's work incorporates judicial precedent and legislative developments, offering proposals aimed at strengthening the efficacy of administrative justice and improving the execution of court judgments. The defense committee, chaired by Professor Mohamed Chadi, included esteemed academics from various Moroccan universities.

The academic discussion highlighted critical aspects of the research, particularly concerning the effectiveness of legal provisions, the implementation of administrative decisions, and the scope of administrative courts' intervention in protecting rights and upholding the principle of legality. The committee's decision to grant El Oussi the highest honors and recommend publication underscores the significance of her contribution to the field of public law in Morocco.
