Moroccans found unconscious among aluminum profiles in Giurgiu truck; entered illegally

Border police in Giurgiu, Romania, discovered two Moroccan men unconscious inside a truck filled with aluminum profiles. The truck, en route from Turkey to Romania, was stopped for inspection as part of the "SUMMER MIGRATION 4" operation.

Authorities found the two men had entered the truck illegally by cutting the tarp, despite the intact customs seal. They were found in a state of unconsciousness and required immediate medical attention. Emergency services were called, and the men were stabilized at the Giurgiu County Emergency Hospital.

After receiving care, the individuals were taken to the border police headquarters for questioning. They were identified as Moroccan nationals and are now facing charges for illegally crossing the state border. The case has been transferred to Bulgarian authorities, who will continue the investigation and legal proceedings. This operation was conducted in cooperation with Bulgarian border police to manage migration flows and combat cross-border crime.
