Morocco's PAM Party Renews Support for King, Praises Economic Progress and Gas Pipeline Project

The political bureau of Morocco's Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) convened to review the nation's political, economic, and social landscape. The meeting also addressed organizational preparations for future electoral challenges.

The Glorious Throne Day remains a renewed national occasion to recall the depth and strength of the bonds of allegiance and loyalty that unite the glorious Alaouite throne with the Moroccan people, and to renew the national mobilization behind His Majesty the King to continue the path of development and reform, and to consolidate the Kingdom's position and preserve its territorial unity.

Central to the discussions was a congratulatory message to King Mohammed VI on his 27th anniversary on the throne. The party underscored the enduring bond between the monarchy and the Moroccan people, reaffirming national commitment to continued development and the safeguarding of territorial integrity.

The PAM expressed strong approval for the advancement of the Africa Atlantic Gas Pipeline project, linking Morocco with Nigeria. The party views this project, endorsed by ECOWAS leaders, as a pivotal step in realizing a strategic African initiative. It also reinforces Morocco's vision of serving as a bridge for economic integration between Africa and Europe, solidifying its role as a reliable partner in major continental endeavors.

Despite global economic uncertainties, the national economy grew by 4.9%, driven by significant investment efforts. Inflation remained low at an average of 0.8%, reflecting the economy's robustness and the effectiveness of public policies in balancing growth with price stability.

The PAM also lauded the government's performance under Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, highlighting structural reforms and achievements across various sectors.
