Morocco Weather Forecast for Saturday, August 1, 2026

Morocco is bracing for a hot Saturday, August 1, 2026, with high temperatures expected in numerous regions including Loukkos, Saïss, Tangier, the central and northern Atlantic plains, the western plains, Souss, and the southeastern parts of the country, as well as the eastern Saharan provinces.

During the night and early morning, residents can expect low-lying clouds accompanied by fog patches or very light drizzle near the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts. However, unstable and stormy weather is forecast for the southern part of the Oriental region, the Atlas Mountains, and the southeastern areas. These regions may experience scattered rainfall and thunderstorms, with further stormy showers expected in the far south of the Saharan provinces.

Moderate to locally strong winds are anticipated in the Atlas Mountains, northern plains, and southern provinces. These winds could be accompanied by localized dust and sand. Temperatures are expected to vary significantly across the country. Minimum temperatures will range from 30-36°C in areas like Chichaoua, Souss, the southeast, the Phosphate Plateau, northern Saharan provinces, and the inland Gharb region. Cooler minimums of 16-20°C are predicted for the Atlas Mountains, northern Rif, Tangier, and adjacent coastal areas. Most other parts of the kingdom will see minimums between 25-30°C.

Daytime temperatures will rise in the Mediterranean facade, Tangier, coastal areas, northern plains, the southeast, and the eastern southern region. Conversely, temperatures are expected to decrease or remain unchanged in the rest of the kingdom. Sea conditions will be calm on the Mediterranean coast, calm to slightly rough in the Strait of Gibraltar and north of Assilah, slightly rough to rough along the coast between Safi and Sidi Ifni, and slightly rough on other coasts.
