Mother charged with severe abuse of three children

A 44-year-old woman is on trial at the Court of Hjørring, accused of severely abusing her three children over a nearly decade-long period. The alleged abuse, which took place between 2017 and 2026, reportedly involved repeated physical violence against the children, who range in age from 3 to 16.

The indictment details accusations of the woman striking her children on their heads and bodies with open and closed fists. Reports indicate she also used objects like wooden sticks and flip-flops as weapons. Furthermore, she is accused of shaking her youngest child and pushing the children, causing them to fall.
