Mother's Day Feast in Tainan Sells Out, Waitlist Forms

Tainan's "Four Seasons Banquets" spring feast, a highly anticipated event, has sold out immediately after reservations opened. The event, which is considered a prime Mother's Day dining option, will be held at Datanpi Wanglai Park in Guanhua District. This culinary experience features renowned local chefs苏嘉进 and 施宗泰, who bring nearly a century of combined banquet experience to the table. They will present classic Tainan banquet dishes, incorporating local ingredients such as Guanhua pineapples, green bamboo shoots, Baihe lotus seeds, and Yuqing shiitake mushrooms. Seafood will include Beimen milkfish, general mullet roe, and Xuejia garlic, alongside fresh catches like Qigu long-tiger grouper, scallops, and clams. The feast also highlights local produce like Houbi glutinous rice, Yanshui red beans, and Liuying fresh milk. Each table is priced at NT$10,000. The success of this event underscores Tainan's vibrant culinary scene and the public's enthusiasm for high-quality, locally sourced dining experiences. The surrounding area offers additional attractions, including Thousand Buddha Mountain Bodhi Temple and Xingguang Painted Village, making it an ideal destination for a day trip.
