Motorcycle and car collide in Raseiniai; drivers resolve incident without police

A collision between a "Victory" motorcycle and a car occurred on Vilniaus Street in Raseiniai around 7:30 AM today. Photos shared by "Alio, Raseiniai" show the aftermath of the crash, with the motorcycle appearing to have escaped significant damage.

The car, however, sustained more considerable damage. Images reveal a broken bumper, a damaged headlight, and visible harm to the vehicle's bodywork. The local publication "Alio, Raseiniai" humorously captioned the photos on Facebook, asking "Whose butt is tougher?"

Delfi contacted the Šiauliai County Chief Police Commissariat, which confirmed that neither party involved in the accident had reported the incident. It is presumed that both drivers reached an agreement regarding the circumstances of the crash and completed the necessary traffic accident declarations without involving the authorities.

This suggests a common practice where minor traffic incidents are resolved directly between the involved parties to avoid official police reports and potential complications.
