Motorcycle in Vietnam Priced Like Hyundai Accent: Unique Design, Front and Rear Cameras

The Italjet Dragster 700 Twin Premium Edition has arrived in Vietnam, drawing attention with its unique design and high-performance features. Imported from China, this distinctive motorcycle is priced at 428 million Vietnamese dong (approximately $16,700 USD).

The importer has announced that only 25 units of the Dragster 700 will be distributed in Vietnam, and notably, all have already been pre-ordered. This limited availability underscores the model's appeal to a niche market seeking more than just transportation.

The Dragster 700 boasts a striking appearance, reminiscent of maxi-scooters but fundamentally a large-displacement motorcycle. Its design is characterized by an exposed trellis frame and aerodynamic body panels, reflecting Italjet's signature style. While detailed specifications on dimensions or comfort features are scarce, the focus is clearly on its performance capabilities.

Powering the motorcycle is a 698cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine that delivers a maximum output of 69 horsepower at 8,500 rpm, enabling a top speed of 190 km/h. This power is channeled to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox, similar to that found on other large-displacement motorcycles.

With its highly distinctive design, the Dragster 700 faces no direct competitors in the Vietnamese market. In a similar price bracket, potential buyers might consider alternatives like the Kawasaki Z1100 SE or the Triumph Scrambler 900, though neither offers the same unique aesthetic as the Italjet.
