Motorcyclist, 60s, killed in crash in Co Donegal

A fatal collision involving a motorcycle and a car has resulted in the death of a man in his 60s in County Donegal. The incident took place on the N56 road in Termon at approximately 4:30 PM on Friday.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was subsequently transported to Letterkenny University Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The driver of the car, a woman in her 30s, was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for injuries that were described as non-serious.

Emergency services attended the scene, and the area has been preserved for forensic examination. Local diversions remain in place on the N56 as investigations continue. Gardaí, Ireland's national police force, are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
