Motorcyclist injures officer and himself after ignoring stop order in Bursa

A police officer and a motorcyclist were injured in Bursa, Turkey, after the motorcyclist allegedly refused a "stop" command and drove his vehicle at the officer. The incident took place near the Halıcılar area in front of the Odunluk Metro Station in the Nilüfer district.

According to reports, the motorcyclist attempted to flee after being ordered to stop by the police. In his attempt to escape, he reportedly steered his motorcycle directly at a police officer. The collision resulted in injuries to both individuals.

Emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene following the incident. The injured police officer was transported by ambulance to Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. The motorcyclist was taken to Çekirge State Hospital for treatment.

Initial information indicates that the motorcyclist suffered a broken leg, while the police officer sustained injuries to his arms and legs. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
