"I see him with a lot of hunger to make history with Real Madrid," Mourinho stated in a press conference, emphasizing the player's drive beyond individual statistics.

The coach also commented on the team's overall performance, noting that they elevated their game in the second half. He stressed the importance of collective effort, preferring "40 goals with titles" over "60 without titles," and valuing teamwork over individual accolades, a common pitfall for many attackers.

Mourinho also addressed the occasional whistles directed at the team and players like Vinícius Júnior during the match.
