‘Mr. Perfect’ winner Kaja opens up about her future with Karlo and the toughest moments: ‘We somehow survived’

Kaja Casar says trust, rather than jealousy, holds her relationship with Karlo Godec together. Asked on Instagram whether she feared he might cheat, the winner of “Mr. Perfect” gave a direct answer: “No. If I constantly had that fear, I probably would not be in a relationship at all.”

Casar used an Instagram Q&A to share details about their life after filming the reality show. The couple had to keep their relationship strictly secret until the program began airing, even though they had moved in together right away. She recalled that the arrangement became increasingly difficult after the New Year.

“Until New Year’s, we somehow survived,” Casar said. She explained that they initially found it manageable to spend time together in their apartment because they were still getting to know each other. From the beginning of January, however, they counted down the days until mid-April, when they could finally go for coffee, walk their dog Mile and shop together in public.

Casar said the restrictions ultimately helped them get to know each other better. She also answered briefly and with a smile when asked whether she would like to have children one day: “Yes!” Her family, she said, was pleased when she told them she was moving to Zagreb, partly because the Croatian capital brought her closer to Slovenia.

The couple recently appeared from a holiday on the island of Brač, where they began renovating their yard. In one video, Godec jokingly called their late-night digging project “night digging.” The pair worked with gloves, hoes and shovels, while Casar showed off her strength for the camera.
