Mulch Film Support for Strawberry Producers in Manisa

In a bid to support local agriculture, the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality has launched a project to provide essential materials to strawberry producers. Through its Rural Services Department, the municipality distributed mulch films to 73 farmers in the Gökeyüp neighborhood of Salihli and the Köprübaşı district.

Yılmaz Usta, Head of the Rural Services Department, explained that the support specifically targets small-scale producers registered in the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) with less than four decares of strawberry cultivation area.
