Museveni Commends Outgoing Netherlands Ambassador for Strengthening Uganda Ties

President Yoweri Museveni met with Frederieke Quispel, the outgoing Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Uganda, during a farewell visit at his Kisozi farm in Gomba District. The meeting marked the end of Ambassador Quispel's tenure, during which she focused on enhancing bilateral ties between the two nations.

During their discussion, President Museveni expressed his appreciation for Ambassador Quispel's dedicated service. He specifically acknowledged her role in strengthening the diplomatic and economic relations between Uganda and the Netherlands. The President conveyed his best wishes for her future endeavors and thanked her for fostering cooperation and partnership across various sectors.

President Museveni also urged Ambassador Quispel to continue her advocacy for Uganda as a prime investment destination. He encouraged Dutch investors to explore the country's favorable investment climate and the numerous opportunities available in key economic sectors. Ambassador Quispel, who presented her credentials in August 2024, has worked to deepen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
