Musical and choreographic performance of "Manas" to be shown for free in Bishkek

Bishkek will offer free public viewings of the musical and choreographic performance "Manas" on August 21 and 22. The production will be presented by the Кызыл-Суу (Kyzyl-Suu) song and dance ensemble, hailing from the Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture of Kizilsu in China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

According to the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, the ensemble will use music, choreography, and stagecraft to explore the artistic dimensions of the renowned Kyrgyz epic, "Manas." The performances are scheduled to take place in the Grand Hall of the Toktogul Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic.

Both performances are set to begin at 7:00 PM, and admission will be free of charge. The opening ceremony is expected to be attended by notable figures, including Arslan Koichiev, the State Secretary of Kyrgyzstan; Mirbek Mametaliyev, the Minister of Culture; and Liu Jianping, the Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, along with other cultural figures and members of the public.
