Musical and dance performance "Manas" to be shown for free in Bishkek

Bishkek will host a free presentation of the musical and dance performance "Manas" on August 21 and 22. The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, will showcase the talents of the Song and Dance Ensemble Kyzyl-Suu, hailing from the Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture within China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

Through a blend of music, choreography, and performing arts, the artists aim to bring the rich artistic world of the Kyrgyz epic "Manas" to life. The performances are scheduled to take place at the Grand Hall of the Toktogul Satyganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Hall, with shows commencing at 7 p.m. each evening.

The event is open to the public with free admission. The opening ceremony is anticipated to be attended by several dignitaries, including Kyrgyzstan’s State Secretary Arslan Koichiev, Minister of Culture Mirbek Mambetaliev, and China's Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Liu Jiangping. Representatives from the cultural sector and the general public are also expected to be present.
