Musicians Join Dompet Dhuafa for 'Sound of Humanity' Concert Benefiting NTT

Dompet Dhuafa, in collaboration with several musicians, organized a charity concert titled "Sound of Humanity" in Depok, West Java, on Monday night. The event aims to raise Rp 30 billion to support the recovery of communities affected by disasters in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT).

The concert featured artists including Pusakata, Parade Hujan, Adrian Yunan, Enau, Chiki Fawzi, Vikri and My Magic Friend, and Kastra. It is part of a broader effort to foster public concern for disaster victims in NTT.

"This is a charity concert called Sound of Humanity for NTT, we want to involve more people to help our brothers and sisters affected by disasters in NTT," said Suci Qadarsih, General Manager of Marketing Communication at Dompet Dhuafa. She explained that Depok was chosen as a venue because many residents want to help but lack a clear channel for donations. The "Sound of Humanity" initiative plans to extend to other cities.

The idea for the charity concert originated from the musicians themselves, with Pusakata having previously held a similar event in Labuan Bajo shortly after the disaster. The positive response from the public, including foreign nationals, inspired further action. Dompet Dhuafa is facilitating donations through various channels, both on-site and digitally, with Warnoes Juanda providing the venue and Bayu Suara supplying sound equipment. Warnoes Juanda also committed to donating 5 percent of its sales to the cause.
