Muslim World League Denounces Israeli Raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Muslim World League has issued a strong condemnation of the persistent incursions by Israeli settlers and extremist ministers into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, carried out under the protection of Israeli police. The League's General Secretariat, in a statement, decried these actions as a dangerous violation that inflames Muslim sentiments globally and constitutes a grave assault on the sanctity of Islamic holy sites. Secretary-General, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa, cautioned against the Israeli occupation's continued transgressions of the established historical and legal status quo in Jerusalem's Islamic and Christian holy places. He warned that these actions undermine peace efforts and threaten security and stability in the region and the world.

Dr. Al-Issa emphasized the urgent need for the international community to fulfill its moral and legal responsibilities by immediately halting these violations. He expressed strong support for the statements issued by Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Qatar, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey, which address Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories. The League affirmed its backing for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state. This stance reflects a unified Arab and Islamic front against actions perceived as provocations and aggressions in occupied territories.
