Mutual help is key to community well-being, says Raja Muda of Perlis

The Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, has called for the cultivation of mutual assistance and care within the community, stating that these values are fundamental to strengthening the well-being of the ummah (community).

He articulated that a caring society is characterized by its constant concern for neighbors, family members, and the wider community. Tuanku Syed Faizuddin emphasized that even small contributions, offered with sincerity, can bring hope and alleviate the burdens of those facing life's challenges. This sentiment was expressed during the MAIPs Peduli convoy program around Beseri.

The program, organized by various MARA-affiliated bodies and supported by the Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council of Perlis (MAIPs), also aimed to support local entrepreneurs. The Raja Muda visited premises of entrepreneurs under Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), expressing hope that these visits would spur the growth of local businesses and boost consumer confidence in Perlis products and services.

During the convoy, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin and Raja Puan Muda Perlis, Tuanku Dr. Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil, visited three underprivileged families. Che Munir Mansor, Hamidah Noh (67), and Salim Ali (75) each received RM700 in cash, a MAIPs Peduli kit, and rice, along with additional contributions from Rural Capital Berhad (RCB) and ANSERI. The convoy also included visits to MARA-guided entrepreneurial businesses to assess their progress and reinforce connections between institutions, entrepreneurs, and the community.
