My life is in danger – ‘Fake’ PFIPC DG’ Adeyemi cries out

Adeniyi Adeyemi, who claims to lead a Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), has asserted that his life is under threat, leading him to withdraw from public view. Adeyemi insists he is not hiding from law enforcement but is genuinely concerned for his safety, citing "several attempts" on his life.

His public statements come shortly after a US lobbying firm, Von Batten-Montague-York, declared its intention to support Adeyemi's pursuit of political asylum in the United States. The firm's representative described Adeyemi as "sincere and credible," and stated they had begun briefing members of Donald Trump's team and the US Congress about allegations Adeyemi has made against senior Nigerian officials.

Definitely, I’m ready. I’m ready to show my face. I’m not hiding. I’m only fearing for my life because I have it on good authority that my life is in danger.

However, the Presidency in Nigeria has repeatedly disavowed the PFIPC, labeling it a non-existent government agency. Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force is preparing to arraign Adeyemi before the Federal High Court in Abuja. He faces charges including forgery, impersonation, and other related offenses, with investigators alleging he operated the purported council from a government building in Abuja.
