Myongji University's College of Chemistry and Biological Sciences hosts 'Freshman Meeting' for student exchange

Myongji University's College of Chemistry and Biological Sciences recently held a "Freshman Meeting" event, bringing together approximately 60 students and 20 faculty and staff. The gathering served as a capstone for the "Student Adaptation Support Program" and aimed to facilitate interaction and build community among students.

The event featured a lecture on "Finding Your True Self," which encouraged students to reflect on their personal growth and identity formation, drawing on concepts like Erikson's stages of psychosocial development. Following the lecture, students engaged in free-flowing discussions with professors, sharing insights on academics, career paths, and overall university life. This provided a valuable opportunity for mentors and mentees to exchange experiences and for new students to deepen their understanding of college life through interactions with seniors, peers, and faculty.
