Wonkwang Digital University concludes successful offline admissions events, plans online sessions

Wonkwang Digital University has successfully completed its offline admissions information sessions held on May 30 and 31 in Iksan and Seoul. The events attracted over 150 prospective students eager to learn about the university's admission process, departmental offerings, and scholarship programs.

Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with faculty and admissions staff, clarifying questions and receiving personalized guidance. The sessions were divided into two parts: the first provided an overview of the university, admission schedules for the second semester of 2026, and scholarship information. The second part focused on one-on-one consultations with professors from interested departments, offering practical advice on curriculum, learning environments, and career prospects.

An admissions official highlighted the success of the face-to-face sessions in enhancing understanding of the admission process and addressing applicants' concerns. Participants expressed high interest and active engagement, contributing to the events' positive outcome. As an incentive, attendees received an application fee waiver for their future applications.

Recognizing that not all prospective students could attend the in-person events, Wonkwang Digital University announced it will host additional online information sessions. These sessions will be conducted via Zoom on June 25. Interested individuals can register for the online sessions through the university's admissions portal. The university is currently accepting applications for the second semester of 2026, with the deadline set for July 15.
