A mysterious luminous object streaking across the night sky has captivated and puzzled residents across Lithuania. Beginning late Friday night and continuing into early Saturday morning, numerous individuals reported observing the unusual phenomenon, sharing videos and accounts on social media platforms.

Social media groups, such as "Orų entuziastai" (Weather Enthusiasts) on Facebook, became hubs for these sightings. Videos captured from different locations, including Klaipėda, Kretinga, Radviliškis, Joniškis, Panevėžys, Šiauliai, and Jurbarkas, depict a bright, fast-moving light descending from the heavens. The consistency of the visual descriptions across various regions suggests a widespread event.

Eyewitnesses and online commentators have offered various explanations for the aerial display. Theories range from advanced drones and unusual lightning phenomena to the possibility of a meteor.
