Nabil Ayouch's new film 'Run, Without Tears' gears up with international cast

Moroccan director and producer Nabil Ayouch has unveiled his latest cinematic endeavor, titled "Run, Without Tears." The project is currently in its preparatory stages, with Ayouch assembling a cast that includes both Moroccan talents and international stars.

Ayouch shared the news through official social media channels, posting a photo with the film's lead actors. He expressed pride in the ensemble, calling it a "dream team" and conveying his enthusiasm for the upcoming shoot. The director is once again collaborating with Moroccan actress Nisrin Erradi, a key figure in the film. Their previous partnership on "Casablanca Beats" garnered significant attention at international film festivals and received widespread critical acclaim.

In "Casablanca Beats," Erradi delivered a memorable performance as "Chikha Toudi," a woman striving for self-determination and a better future for her son. That film shed light on the world of "Chikhat" and the traditional "Aita" music, exploring human and social dimensions often overlooked in cinema.

For "Run, Without Tears," Ayouch is bringing together a diverse cast. Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, known for her roles in international productions, will star alongside Erradi and Nasser Kebab. Notably, Ayouch's wife, filmmaker Maryam Touzani, will also participate as an actress, marking a return to acting for her after focusing on writing and directing in recent years.
