Nadia Anuar takes daughter to live with her after child blamed for domestic helpers quitting

Malaysian host Nadia Anuar has expressed frustration and disbelief after her nine-year-old daughter, Dya Nyla, was allegedly blamed for the departure of three domestic helpers. Anuar considers the accusations against her daughter "nonsensical."

The domestic helpers reportedly cited behavioral issues with Dya Nyla, including resistance to bathing, refusal to brush her teeth, and difficulty waking up for school, as reasons for their resignation. Anuar finds it astonishing that a child of nine years old would be singled out for such behavior, especially as these issues allegedly arose only in the past two to three months.

Anuar highlighted that a previous domestic helper had stayed with the family for nine years without any problems. She questioned why her daughter would suddenly become the cause of helpers leaving, particularly after her ex-husband, Hafiz Salleh, remarried. "It's quite shocking that they blame a nine-year-old child for her stubbornness, not wanting to bathe, sometimes refusing to brush her teeth, and being reluctant to wake up for school, causing three maids to quit," Anuar stated.
