National Nutrition Agency Evaluates Building Structure After Glass Panel Falls

The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) is investigating an incident where an exterior glass panel on its Central Jakarta office building detached and shattered.

The panel fell from the second floor around 11:25 AM WIB on Thursday, July 9, 2026, after a sound was heard from the supporting bracket. The glass broke into fragments upon hitting the asphalt area below the building.

BGN spokesperson and Deputy Head Agustina Arumsari confirmed that immediate procedures were followed, including documenting the scene, sterilizing the area, and cleaning up the glass debris. "As soon as the incident occurred, we immediately carried out initial handling procedures to ensure the safety of employees at the location," Arumsari stated in a written release.
