National Security Ruled Out in Fangliao Metals Chairman Murder; Suspect Identified

Taiwanese police have excluded national security concerns as a motive in the recent murder of Huang Sheng-xuan, the chairman of Fangliao Jingyuan Tungsten Cobalt Resources Co. The investigation is now focused on identifying and apprehending a specific individual believed to be involved.

The case presented challenges due to a malfunctioning surveillance system at the victim's residence and the remote location. However, by reviewing hundreds of surveillance cameras from surrounding areas and meticulously examining Huang's social circles and frequented establishments, investigators have narrowed down their focus. Preliminary findings suggest the perpetrator was known to the victim.

Initial speculation had ranged from national security issues involving foreign entities to debt disputes or personal conflicts arising from visits to entertainment venues. These rumors, however, have been dismissed by authorities as conjecture. The victim was reportedly found bound, resembling a "mummy," and beaten to death. Police are actively pursuing the identified suspect, aiming to bring them to justice and clarify the circumstances surrounding the homicide.
