National team merchandise to launch ahead of Asian Games

Five limited-edition products inspired by Korean cultural heritage will be released for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

The National Museum Foundation of Korea announced the “MUSEUM × Team Korea” collection after signing an agreement with the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee on the domestic and international spread of K-culture. The collection includes pin badges for baseball, football, archery and canoeing, along with a Taegeuk key ring.

From the 18th through the 3rd of the following month, the products will be displayed and sold at a pop-up store in Korea House in Nagoya under the theme “Wishes for Your Victory.” The project shifts attention from presenting cultural heritage by object type to the meaning of wishes, including hopes for good fortune, health, peace, prosperity and achievement.

The pin badges depict a scholar from the National Museum of Korea’s “A Banquet for the Governor of Pyeongan Province” participating in Asian Games events. The Taegeuk key ring uses the museum’s Denny Taegeukgi, with the stated aim of introducing Korea’s history and culture.
