Navatu stuns RKS to create history

Navatu Secondary School has secured one of the most significant upsets in the Vodafone Deans Trophy competition, triumphing over Ratu Kadavulevu School (RKS) with a 22-17 victory in their Under-19 semi-final match.

The final whistle at Burkhurst Park in Suva was met with an eruption of celebration from Navatu fans, marking a historic achievement for the school. Head coach Alipate Ravulo expressed immense pride in his team's performance, stating that reaching this stage was far from easy.

The coach further credited the vocal support from their fans, who turned out in large numbers, for playing a crucial role in motivating the team. RKS had opportunities to score and make their way towards Navatu's try line but ultimately could not break through the determined defense. The loud cheers from supporters significantly boosted the Navatu players' morale and performance throughout the game.
