NCC 2026 to Drive Collaboration for Stronger Cybersecurity and Digital Economy

Indonesia is gearing up for the National Cybersecurity Connect (NCC) 2026, an annual forum designed to bolster the nation's defenses in cyberspace. Scheduled for October 28-29, 2026, in Jakarta, the event's theme, "Securing Trust and Resilience in the Age of AI-Driven Digital Transformation," highlights the growing urgency to protect the digital economy.

The NCC 2026 aims to be a pivotal meeting ground for government bodies, industry players, academics, associations, and cybersecurity solution providers. Its primary goal is to forge stronger collaborations and enhance national digital resilience, a critical factor as artificial intelligence becomes more integrated into various sectors.

Sulistyo, Deputy for Government Cyber Security & Crypto and Human Resource Development at the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), stressed the evolving complexity of cyber threats due to AI. He stated that collaboration is key to building a robust and trustworthy national cybersecurity ecosystem, welcoming the NCC as a strategic platform for this synergy.

Echoing this sentiment, Muhammad Neil El Himam, Deputy for Digital and Technology Creativity at the Ministry of Creative Economy, identified cybersecurity as a fundamental pillar for the Indonesian digital creative economy. He believes that strengthening digital security will directly impact the competitiveness of creative economy actors who increasingly rely on technology. The NCC 2026 is expected to foster closer ties between creative economy players, the tech industry, and other stakeholders to build a secure and competitive digital ecosystem.
