Nearly 30 documents signed at SCO summit in Bishkek

Nearly 30 documents were signed in Bishkek at a meeting of the heads of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation member states on Sept. 1.

The agreements included the Bishkek Declaration dedicated to the SCO’s 25th anniversary. Other documents focused on strengthening multilateral cooperation and improving the organisation’s work.

The summit served as the main concluding event of Kyrgyzstan’s 2025-2026 chairmanship. Kyrgyzstan conducted its chairmanship under the slogan “25 years of the SCO: together toward sustainable peace, development, and prosperity.”
