Neelofa to keep pregnancy private, announce only after birth

Malaysian celebrity and entrepreneur Noor Neelofa, 37, is maintaining her stance on not officially announcing her pregnancy, despite growing public attention to her changing physique. She explained that making pregnancy announcements has not been her practice for previous children and she chooses to share the news only after a safe delivery.

Neelofa cited caution as a reason for her decision, preferring to entrust the entire pregnancy journey to Allah SWT. "It's not speculation, perhaps many have guessed and seen. I've never made an announcement for any child before this. We will announce after giving birth. That's the best because anything can happen before the child is born," she stated at the launch of Nilofa Banana Milk in The Curve.

She requested prayers for a smooth pregnancy, good health, and a safe delivery. "The best is just to pray. Pray that this journey is made easy, that I am healthy, and give birth. After that, may the next phase also be easy. That's all. Of course, when the time comes to announce, I will. For now, I hold that principle because I think it's better to be careful and leave everything to God," Neelofa added.

Regarding the baby's gender, which has been a subject of speculation among fans, Neelofa confirmed it is private information known only to immediate family members. "I won't share that either. I handle that privately with Haris's family, his siblings, and my family and siblings. Even our cousins don't know. I feel there's no need to share everything with the public. It's enough for close family to know, and the rest we leave to God," she said. Neelofa married preacher Haris Ismail on March 27, 2021, and they have two children: Muhammad Bilal, 4, and Abdullah Abbas, 3.
