Negeri Sembilan leader denies Ahmad Zahid was involved in effort to oust Tuanku Muhriz

SEREMBAN: Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim has denied that UMNO President Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was involved in any effort to remove the state’s ruler, Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir.

Ismail said he continued to support UMNO, which he said upheld, defended and protected the dignity of the Malay rulers’ institution and the principles of constitutional monarchy.
