Negeri Sembilan PH leaders meet, discuss dissolution of State Legislative Assembly

Leaders of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition in Negeri Sembilan convened a meeting at the official residence of Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun on Monday morning. The gathering reportedly focused on discussions regarding the potential dissolution of the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly (DUN).

Among the prominent figures seen attending the meeting were Negeri Sembilan DAP Vice Chairman J. Arul Kumar and DAP Negeri Sembilan Secretary Cha Kee Chin. Sources indicate that the meeting aimed to deliberate on the timing and implications of dissolving the state assembly.

While the specifics of the discussions remain undisclosed, the Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar's press secretary, Ahmad Shahir Mohd. Shah, confirmed that no press conference would be held on Monday. However, he did confirm that the Menteri Besar is scheduled to have an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, on Tuesday, a customary practice before the State Executive Council (MMK) meeting.

This development follows Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi's announcement on Sunday regarding the dissolution of the Johor State Legislative Assembly to pave the way for the 16th State Election.
