Rescuers in Nepal worked Friday to pull survivors caked in mud from the earth and lift stranded individuals to safety via helicopter, as the country grappled with the aftermath of catastrophic flash floods. The death toll in Nepal has climbed to at least 547, with disaster management authorities reporting 977 people still unaccounted for.
