Netball association president impressed by team's performance

Koila Kabu, president of the IGA Suva Netball Association, has expressed her delight with the team's consistent performance in the association's weekly club competition. Kabu observed a steady improvement in the standard of play across recent rounds, with a particular emphasis on the burgeoning talent within the junior divisions.

"Especially with our younger grades, we can see that they’re getting better by each round and this is a good sign for the future of the sport in the country," Kabu stated. She highlighted that these young players are actively showcasing significant potential, which bodes well for the future of netball in Fiji.

Despite facing challenging weather conditions recently, Kabu confirmed that the season has progressed smoothly. Round Seven of the competition commenced yesterday, marking another step forward in the ongoing league.

A notable development this season has been the addition of a new club to the association. Kabu views this expansion as a positive indicator of the sport's continued growth and increasing popularity within the Suva region.

The competition is scheduled to continue for another three months, providing ample opportunity for players to develop their skills and for the association to further foster the sport's development.
