New 82-meter skyscraper to become Slovenia's second-tallest residential building

Ljubljana is set to welcome Nordika, an 82-meter residential skyscraper that will soon stand as Slovenia's second-tallest residential structure. Located near the bustling train station, the building will house nearly 300 apartments, offering a modern living space in a key urban hub.

The architectural vision for Nordika comes from the globally recognized firm Snøhetta, known for its innovative and aesthetically striking designs. The project aims to create a dynamic, social, and sustainable neighborhood, integrating seamlessly into the city's fabric despite its location at a busy transit point.

With 23 stories, Nordika will surpass the height of the Situla building and rival the Spektra twin towers in Ljubljana's Šiška district, which currently stand as Slovenia's tallest residential buildings at just over 200 meters. Construction is planned to commence this year, with the project expected to be completed by 2030, pending administrative approvals and smooth execution.
