New Croatian series features an unusual duo: a genius and a rule-following inspector

Voyo is set to premiere its first Croatian original series, 'IQ 160,' an adaptation of the internationally acclaimed French series 'HPI' (Haut Potentiel Intellectuel). The show, scheduled to arrive on the platform soon, promises a unique blend of crime-solving and character dynamics.

The series stars Dajana Čuljak as Marina Kapov, a single mother of three who works as a cleaner at a Zagreb police station. Unbeknownst to her colleagues, Marina possesses an exceptional IQ of 160. Her extraordinary talent comes to light when she inadvertently solves a complex crime that had stumped experienced investigators, leading to her recruitment as a police consultant.

Marina's new role pairs her with Inspector Tomislav Ramljak, portrayed by Luka Peroš. Ramljak is a disciplined investigator who strictly adheres to all rules. Together, they form an unconventional team whose contrasting approaches become their greatest asset in solving cases. The series is set against the vibrant backdrop of Zagreb during the summer months.

For Luka Peroš, known for his roles in major international productions like 'La Casa de Papel,' joining 'IQ 160' marked a return to the domestic market after over a decade. He expressed enthusiasm for the comedic aspect of the series and praised his co-star Dajana Čuljak, describing her as a talented and energetic colleague. Čuljak, in turn, felt an immediate connection to her character, Marina, and the series' format, finding inspiration in everyday life and her own energetic personality.
