Hertha BSC secured their first season-opening victory in six years with a 1-0 win against Bochum, thanks to a decisive goal from striker Sebastian Grönning. The 29-year-old Danish forward, a father for the first time just two and a half months ago, dedicated his performance to his family. Grönning's goal came in the 39th minute after receiving a pass from Soufian Gouram, and he calmly chipped the ball over Bochum's goalkeeper Timo Horn. "It was the first time I played as a dad.
