New Generation Peugeot 3008 and 5008 SUVs Launched in Vietnam: Priced from 1.279 Billion VND, Packed with Technology

Peugeot has officially introduced the all-new generation of its 3008 and 5008 SUVs to the Vietnamese market. The launch marks the first time these new-generation models are assembled and distributed in Vietnam, with the country also being the first in the ASEAN region to receive them. The Peugeot 3008 is available in two trims: Premium and GT, priced at 1.279 billion and 1.429 billion VND, respectively. The Peugeot 5008 also comes in Premium and GT versions, costing 1.379 billion and 1.529 billion VND. Customers purchasing either model in June or July will receive a direct discount of 30 million VND.

The Peugeot 3008 adopts a more modern SUV coupe design, highlighted by a body-colored grille, pixel LED headlights, and distinctive "lion's claw" daytime running lights. This C-segment SUV is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin is centered around the new generation Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit. A key feature is the 21-inch curved Panoramic screen, which integrates the digital instrument cluster and the central infotainment display. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, complemented by a new D-Cut steering wheel, e-Toggles electronic gear selector, and customizable i-Toggles touch buttons for quick access to frequently used functions. Comfort features include Nappa leather seats, a 10-speaker Focal Premium Hi-Fi sound system, a panoramic sunroof, ambient interior lighting, wireless phone charging, and an AQS air purification system.

Under the hood, the Peugeot 3008 is powered by a 1.6L Turbo PureTech gasoline engine producing 180 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is built on Stellantis's new STLA Medium platform. Safety is enhanced with an advanced driver-assistance package, including a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and traffic sign recognition.

The Peugeot 5008 boasts a wheelbase of 2,900mm, enabling a spacious 7-seat layout. The second-row seats offer flexibility with a 40:20:40 split-folding capability, while the third-row seats fold in a 50:50 configuration. Similar to the 3008, the 5008's interior features the Panoramic i-Cockpit with the 21-inch curved display. It also includes Nappa leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats with heating, ventilation, and memory functions, and heated second-row seats. The vehicle's advanced safety and convenience features are designed to provide a premium experience for families.
