New Johor Exco Ready to Uphold Responsibilities, Advance 'Maju Johor 2030' Agenda

The newly appointed state executive council members of Johor have expressed their readiness to embrace their responsibilities and drive the 'Maju Johor 2030' agenda, led by Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.

Regarding my portfolio, one of the aspirations is to empower the role of women as an important component in society.

Among the ten members appointed for this term, four are new faces. Hasrunizah Hassan, who chairs the Women, Family, and Community Development Committee, stated her commitment to enhancing the role of women as a vital component of society. She plans to update data on women, including single mothers and housewives, to better empower them.

Other new exco members include Md. Israk Abdullah, Chairman of the Agriculture, Agro-based Industry, and Rural Development Committee; Dr. Muhammad Naqib Md. Ghazali, Chairman of the Education and Information Committee; and P. Pannir Selvam, Chairman of the Unity, Heritage, and Culture Committee.

During the campaign, I highlighted the uniqueness of the Bangsa Johor concept, so for the unity portfolio, I want to expand that concept further. Meanwhile, for the heritage and culture portfolio, I want to elevate local culture to a higher level.

Pannir Selvam conveyed his gratitude for the trust placed in him by the Johor Royal Institution and Datuk Onn Hafiz. He aims to further expand the 'Bangsa Johor' concept, emphasizing unity, and to elevate local heritage and culture to a higher level, including integrating traditional heritage preservation in schools for younger generations.

Insya-Allah, this is a great trust and a responsibility that must be carried out. My background is in health, but I have been entrusted with responsibilities related to education and information.

Dr. Muhammad Naqib, whose background is in health, acknowledged the significant trust placed in him for the education and information portfolio. He pledged to do his utmost to ensure the state government's policies and plans are effectively communicated to the public, with a particular focus on the 'Sekolah Rintis Bangsa Johor' (SRBJ) initiative.

I will do my best to carry out this task. We want to ensure that the policies and plans implemented by the state government can be conveyed to the people. One of my focuses will certainly be Sekolah Rintis Bangsa Johor (SRBJ).
