New 'Little House on the Prairie' series debuts on Netflix this week

Netflix is set to release a new television adaptation of the beloved "Little House on the Prairie" classic on Thursday. The series will feature Crosby Fitzgerald in the role of Caroline Ingalls, the matriarch of the Ingalls family, and Luke Bracey as her husband, Charles Ingalls.

Alice Halsey will portray the spirited younger daughter, Laura Ingalls, while Skywalker Hughes takes on the role of the elder sister, Mary. Warren Christie joins the cast as John Edwards, the Ingalls' new neighbor, adding a fresh dynamic to the familiar narrative.

In other television news, Yle Areena is premiering a new installment of "The Forsyte Saga" on Monday. This adaptation draws inspiration from John Galsworthy's acclaimed novel series, which chronicles the lives of a wealthy upper-middle-class London family between 1906 and 1921. Previous television versions of the saga, released in 1967 and 2002, were significant hits.
