New National Nutrition Agency Head Vows Support for Corruption Probe

Sudaryono officially took the helm of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, stepping into the role previously held by Nanik S Deyang. Deyang had resigned earlier that day due to health reasons.

As the new head, Sudaryono acknowledged the challenges within the agency, including existing governance problems and past corruption. He stated that these issues, particularly corruption cases involving former BGN leaders, are being handled by the Attorney General's Office. Sudaryono assured that the agency would fully support the legal process and provide any necessary resources for law enforcement.
