New online platform launched to connect service providers with customers in Fiji

A new online platform, TaskPro, has been launched in Fiji to bridge the gap between individuals seeking services and those offering them. The web-based platform allows users to post jobs and tasks, connecting them with service providers across a diverse range of fields, including cleaning, gardening, deliveries, handyman work, accounting, graphic design, and tutoring.

TaskPro enables users to register as either a task poster or a tasker. Once registered, users can post jobs, browse available tasks, submit offers, and communicate directly through the platform. Co-founder Tasmia Ali explained that the inspiration for TaskPro came from her own struggles to find reliable service providers when needed.

The idea for TaskPro stemmed from personal experiences of struggling to find reliable service providers when needed.

Ali and her business partner identified a clear need for a centralized hub where people could easily find skilled workers and businesses offering various services. The platform was developed with the dual purpose of simplifying the process of finding assistance for everyday tasks and simultaneously creating new avenues for service providers to connect with potential clients. TaskPro officially launched on June 9 and is now accessible to users throughout Fiji.
